Pastor Janet T. Flowers is the older of two siblings, born to the late Daisy T. Murray and step-daughter of the late Robert H. Murray. She has been married for 34 years to Michael C. Flowers, Sr., her friend and companion. They are the proud parents of one daughter: Tori; two sons: Michael, Jr. & Marcus (Shirron) and two grandsons: Christian & Michael and one granddaughter: Camille. She also has two Goddaughters: Ashley Thomas & Ebony Taylor.

Pastor Flowers is a 1975 graduate of Dinwiddie County High School, Dinwiddie, Virginia. With a passion and desire to teach, she continued her education at Virginia State University and graduated in December 1979 with honors, earning a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business Education with a minor in Public Administration.  Upon graduation, she worked as a Computer Specialist with the Computer Science Corporation, Prince George, Virginia for two years. Pursuing her dream to teach, she accepted a position as a Business Instructor with the Dinwiddie County Public School System where she taught at the Dinwiddie High School for 20 years.

During this period of education, training and teaching, she received numerous awards and honors including: Who's Who Among America's High School Students, Who's Who Among America's Colleges and University Students, Who's Who Among America's High School Teachers, The Wal-Mart Teacher of the Year Award, Most Outstanding Business Student, Pi Omega Pi Honor Student & The Martin Luther King Award of Excellence.

Pastor Flowers was baptized and became a member of First Baptist Church, West Petersburg in June 1965. She has served in numerous ministries and was dedicated and faithful in her service. She served as Minister of Youth and Superintendent of Sunday School for many years. She was licensed to preach on April 6, 2008 at First Baptist Church West Petersburg.

After finding her calling, in agreement with the vision of Pastors Keith and Carla Jones, to ‘Break the Yokes of Bondage and set the captives free’, she joined Now Faith That Works Christian Church on June 27, 2010 and later received her license on April 10, 2011. She is currently active in teaching Bible Study and continues to work with the youth.

As a Christian preacher, her desire is to spread the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus of Christ, reaching out to the lost.  Mark 16:15-18 15 And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.  16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.  17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;  18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover." Pastor Keith B. Jones has a passion and love for God’s people.  He is both the Pastor and Founder of Now Faith That Works Christian Church, currently located at 5923 Church Rd. Petersburg, Virginia. He is married to his best friend in life and partner ministry, Co-Pastor Carla. They are the proud parents of three daughters Nekesa (Chris), Phylicia & Mia. They have two grandsons Marquise, Micah and granddaughter Moriah.

Pastor Keith was born in Petersburg on April 6, 1961 to John K. and Gloria Cottman Jones.   He graduated Dinwiddie High School in 1979. He received his degree from Virginia State University Industrial Technology Electronics.  

Pastor Keith began his ministry after walking in obedience and submitting under the Ministry of Bishop I.V. Hilliard.  He attended Life Change Institute and Ministers Development Institute in Houston Texas. He was licensed as Christian Counselor byTherapon Institute.  Pastor Keith served as the Volunteer Chaplain at the Riverside Regional Jail . He has volunteered at that facility for over 8 years. He also volunteers at the Petersburg City Jail and the Southside Jail Ministry. Pastor Keith  won the American Jail Association Counselor of the Jail Award in 2014.  Pastor Keith was ordained July 25, 2004 by his father in the faith and mentor Bishop I. V. Hilliard  at New Light Christian Church, Houston Texas.

Pastor Keith  is a sent messenger to the  body of Christ! He has a teaching ministry that teaches the uncompromised word of God through faith which breaks yokes of bondage and sets the captives free.  Pastor Keith trains and oversees minister's of the gospel by providing mentorship and spiritual leadership. Pastor Keith is a delivered substance abuser who dedicates his life to helping others who struggle to get delivered.  God has graced him with an anointing of restoration and deliverance in the body of Christ.  Contact him at 

Pastor Carla Jones is the co-pastor of NFTWCC.  She was born in Petersburg, Virginia on September 3, 1962 to Carroll and Arthurette Smith.  She attended and graduated Dinwiddie High School in 1980 and was nominated as the class Chaplain by default. It appears her footsteps were ordained from the beginning.  She and Pastor Keith married twice. God restored their marriage after 6 years of separation and 1 year divorce due to drugs and other destructive behaviors. September 28, 1985 is their original wedding date. They have an awesome testimony on how God has anointed them to restore people and relationships back to God.
Pastor is a graduate of the University of Virginia and Virginia Commonwealth University.  She has a Master degree in Social Work 1992. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Christian Counselor. Pastor Carla has a heart to see people delivered by the Word of God.  She ministers along besides her husband as one doing the work of ministry. Pastor Carla is the CEO/Founder of Compassion Counseling L.L.C. a counseling ministry at Now Faith that Works.
